About the event
A new network for migrant justice is being launched in Quebec City. To kick off its activities, the founding organizations (the Migrant Workers Centre – Quebec City office, the Ligue des droits et libertés – Quebec section, L’Engrenage Saint-Roch, and the Table de concertation des organismes au service des personnes réfugiées et immigrantes [TCRI]), in collaboration with the Observatoire pour la justice migrante, invite you to an evening of discussions.
Our legal intervention worker from our Quebec City office will be speaking on a panel!
Discussions will focus on current migrant justice issues, particularly the precarious nature of immigration statuses, access to rights, and the rise in deportations. The event will also explore mobilizations emerging across Quebec and elsewhere in Canada to collectively reflect on ways to take action and strengthen our solidarity.
